| A warm welcome to the magic of Kroka’s
fourteenth summer! All of the teachers, apprentices, volunteers,
and the animals, of course, excitedly await your arrival. Here
at Kroka Village you will find a beautiful natural environment,
an exceptional family of international staff, and an atmosphere
of genuine excitement for a life full of adventure, exploration
and service. We are proud of our summer programs, where every
camp is created from a spark of imagination and deep passion,
where every staff member is here because of their heart’s conviction
and where every student’s family is part of the larger Kroka
community. We are now celebrating our first full year at our
new home in Marlow, NH. We are living in to our woods, fields,
streams and ponds. We are becoming a part of our local community.
Our 2009 Summer Programs will reflect Kroka’s deepening connection
to our special place on earth by having more adventures close
to home and more groups walking on foot out of camp. The programs
in this brochure are the result of the collaborative work of
many special people. We hope you enjoy reading through it. For
all of our friends, old and new, we look forward to seeing you
next summer!
With gratitude,
