In celebration of spring, Easter and Passover, this weeks update
will come in the form of a song… written by the new scribe
Melody: "If I only had a brain" from the Wizard of Oz.
Well hello to all you readers,
I'm writing from the cedars
and Hemlocks here up north,
to keep you informated
and try not to overate it;
our work here since the 4th.
It is spring and it is sunny,
we did run out of money
from drinking too much milk.
But our contra dance next Tuesday couple dollars people may pay
Or we must start trading silk….
Oh, I can tell you why the snow is melting fast,
It's been raining day and night the week that past,
And then the sun came out at last!

We ate our lovely dish, in a wagon from Phish
We had teachers that inspired, making things that we desired,
and every one from Maine.
With exception of the neighbor
Jason naturalist did favor Michigan in front of Maine.
We have finished our canoe now,
she is beautiful and somehow
just perfect in all ways.
And before we hit the river,
she'll be painted green and shiver
'caused by sudden snow and haze.
Oh, we have had the bug and lots of stomach aches.
Diarrhea dried us out like small corn flakes,
A week in bed is all it takes!

Now our new big jobs we've taken and
at times we feel we're fakin'
Because we've all switched up our roles.
Cause the gear man is not gear man,
he is food man and the food man
is the gear man with the poles.
Service projects're complicated,
our time's all saturated
but no project's too hard;
For the supercrew from Kroka
who are strong as coffee mocha
Can stand anything but lard.
Oh we can split our wood and gladly five cords more
Just give us time and splitting mauls, and sure
We'll clear the land by Bill M's door.

RUGBY!!!!!
Here we're living in the bushes, comfy sitting on our tushes
And pounding on our ash.
To make baskets out of wood strips that will sit so good on our
hips
And will carry all our trash.
Now my lunchtime is appearing,
and the time to go is nearing
But this I'll say to you:
here at Northwoods we like it,
'cause they let us keep our spice kit
and their kindness is like few.
Oh, I will leave you now,
but next update will be
In a week or maybe two or maybe three…?
The one who reads, will see…

Butterworks Farm is such a charm!
