BOARD OF TRUSTEES

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Kroka is governed by a volunteer board of trustees.

Kroka’s board of trustees is a diverse group of  8-12 people who help to shape the long term vision and direction of Kroka Expeditions, and provide financial and legal oversight.  Board members bring professional expertise and life experience in a variety of areas, which they use to inform our decision making and to bring in new financial, material and spiritual resources into the organization.  In addition they offer mentorship to our year-round staff and act as public ambassadors for the organization.

The Board of Trustees meets 9-10 times each year, with a combination of evening meetings and day or weekend long retreats

In addition to the full board, smallercommittees meet as needed throughout the year:
- Finance & Fundraising Committee (monthly)
- Executive Committee (monthly) (membership, meeting planning etc.)
- Building Committee (bi-monthly)
- Human Resources Committee (as needed)
